Job Title: NOC Analyst - IoT, API, and Website Monitoring Specialist
We are actively seeking a dynamic and analytical NOC Analyst to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our Network Operations Center (NOC). This position will be integral to the success of our organization, working closely with the internal manager to build a high-performing NOC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Building Support: Collaborate with the internal manager to build and establish a NOC team
- NOC Development: Assist in developing the NOC, with a specific emphasis on building monitoring capabilities for IoT, APIs, and website
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, providing insights into problem-solving and data correlation for effective monitoring
- Sumo Logic Proficiency: Possess at least moderate experience with Sumo Logic, including the ability to build queries. Experience with similar log analysis tools like Splunk will be considered
- Data Mastery: Excel in handling data, including the creation of dashboards, understanding data relationships, and ensuring data-driven decision-making within the NOC
- OpsGenie Experience: Utilize OpsGenie for alert management, ensuring seamless communication and timely response to incidents. Experience with similar alert management tools will be considered
- Technical Operations Expertise: Bring technical operations experience to the role, contributing valuable insights to the NOC's functioning
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of related work experience
- Education: Must be a Bachelor's Degree holder or similar
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking
- Global Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team, fostering collaboration and communication
- Sumo Logic or Similar Tool Proficiency: Moderate to advanced proficiency in Sumo Logic
- Data Management: Proven experience in creating and managing dashboards, understanding data relationships, and utilizing data for decision-making
- Alert Management: Familiarity with OpsGenie or similar alert management tools, ensuring efficient incident response
- Technical Operations Background: Previous experience in technical operations, bringing a wealth of knowledge to enhance NOC operations
