SAP FICO Consultant
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements
- Analyze and map business requirements, processes and objectives; develop needed configuration modifications
- Reports to Tax Program Senior Manager
- Updates all design, configuration, and specification documentation and conducts a documentation walk through with users and support team
- Assists users to anticipate, identify and resolve post-go-live issues/defects
- Leads workshops with users to demonstrate and explain designed functionality and best practice processes
- Lead business process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
- Assists developers by responding to questions and clarifications
- Perform Unit testing and assist users to perform User acceptance testing
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go Live of Tax program implementation projects
- Make SAP configuration settings as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with Business Management or BS Accounting (or related field), or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of 4 years SAP consulting experience and at least 2 end to end implementation
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills essential
- English fluent
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Active role in data gathering for the implementation
- Overall knowledge of SAP Finance solutions; FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Cash Management) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing)
- Customer service focused attitude
- Customer liaison role troubleshooting (investigate, analyze, and resolve)
Candidate must be amenable to work in a Hybrid Setting for a Contractual employment.
