Position Title: DBA/Data Analyst
Work Arrangements: Remote; Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Philippine Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented DBA/Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using data to drive strategic decisions, with a strong foundation in analytics and a keen understanding of the education sector. The successful candidate will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights through analysis, visualization, and storytelling, supporting data-informed decisions across academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex datasets using Python and SQL to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
• Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all analytical outputs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
• Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Google Advanced Data Analytics, DataCamp) are a strong plus.
