Position Title: Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with 15+ years of experience in retail and commercial banking implementations, specifically for secured and unsecured loans. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing large-scale banking projects in the Philippines. This role requires expertise in program planning, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery.

As a key liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors, the Project Manager will drive alignment between business goals and system integration efforts, ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation of banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management and Execution:

  • Develop and oversee the end-to-end implementation of secured and unsecured loan products for retail and commercial banking.
  • Plan and monitor program milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure a coordinated and consistent implementation approach across all stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management and Vendor Coordination:

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors.
  • Work closely with Temenos and the System Integration vendor to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and action plans to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Negotiate, manage, and foster relationships with key technology partners and service providers.

Risk and Compliance Management:

  • Monitor and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and best practices.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring:

  • Provide comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and key achievements.
  • Utilize performance metrics and KPIs to assess project success and efficiency.
  • Continuously drive process improvements and enhance implementation methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Banking & Finance, or a related field.

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in project management within the banking sector.

  • Experience in the Philippines banking market is a strong plus.

  • Strong background in program planning, budget management, and risk mitigation.

  • Proven expertise in secured and unsecured loan implementations for retail and commercial banking.

  • Hands-on experience working with Temenos and System Integration vendors.

  • Familiarity with banking compliance, security protocols, and industry regulations.

  • Strong understanding of core banking systems, lending platforms, and financial services operations.
